课题组运用基因修饰小鼠模型,从分子、细胞和发育生物学层面,研究细胞自噬在造血干细胞表观遗传调控、干性维持、多向分化、损伤修复、抗衰老、恶性转化预防和治疗中的作用及其作用机制。2010 年3 月入职苏州大学唐仲英血液学研究中心以来,主持承担国家科技部、国家自然科学基金委项目8 项。近年完成的研究工作,揭示了自噬在造血干细胞干性维持与多向分化中的调控作用,阐明了造血干细胞与已分化的功能血细胞在自噬机制构架上的差异,发现了天然大环内酯化合物治疗儿童急性淋系白血病的作用及其机制,并提出了肿瘤萌发的概念,认为血液肿瘤预防的关键在于保护正常造血干细胞,阻断造血干细胞的恶性转化。近年来,培养苏州大学优秀博士学位论文获得者2 名、陈悦书奖获得者1 名、明德奖和必翔奖获得者5 名、莙政学者3 名、大创挑战杯特等奖获得者5 名,省优秀本科毕业论文获得者2 名,每年主讲或参讲本科生、硕士生、博士生共计6 门课程,荣获“2016 苏州大学我最喜爱的老师”称号。
