课题组从事血管生物学研究，主要研究课题为丝氨酸蛋白酶，包括血液系统中的凝血酶和纤溶酶。近年来，发现了一类新型的跨膜丝氨酸蛋白酶，克隆并命名了心脏酶corin，并阐明corin 具有调控血压及心功能的作用，还发现corin 在妊娠子宫血管重建中起关键作用，corin 缺陷可导致妊娠高血压。最近研究发现了corin 的活化机制及其在血压稳态中的作用。目前，该实验室从事corin 及其它膜表面蛋白酶包括matriptases 和human airway trypsin-like protease 4 在心血管疾病和恶性血液病中作用的研究，相关研究成果发表于Nature、Nat Med 等重要国际学术期刊。研究课题获得多项国家自然科学基金委、国家重点科学研究计划及美国国立卫生院基金资助。
